September 2016 Started my interest in Ham Radio by joining Burton Amateur Radio Club and enrolled on the Foundation licence path.

I passed my foundation licence in October 2016 and became M6OML.

15/12/16 Passed Intermediate Licence exam. 23/12/16 Callsign chosen 2EØEZG

19/07/17 Passed Full Licence exam.  29/07/17 Callsign chosen MØXMX

At home I use a Flex Radio 5000 with a 2Mtr DEMI transverter. You may also find the Yaesu FT991 in here if it isn't in the caravan or in the car.

Antennas are: Diamond X510 (2/70cm), Tonna 220808 crossed yagi (2M), Cobweb (20-10M) & 80/40 Doublet.

My passion is portable operations from hilltops typically on 2M. I use a Yaesu FT 817 of FT991 for this typically with a long wire (HF) or homebrew slimjim (2M)

This is the (very understanding) XYL, Jayne and the adorable cockerpoo is Teddy. He appears in a lot of my videos.

I enjoy telling people about my hobby and furthermore, I like making videos on this topic. Check out my Youtube channel.
